It is upon us! John Mayer teased a tour announcement earlier this week; so it was no surprise that a full tour announcement was upon us.. But now it's official! The tour seems to hit many familiar places; Shoreline, The Gorge, Deer Creek, Wrigley Field, SPAC, the Hollywood Bowl.. Always pushing to new venues, Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas is a new spot on the psychedelic map for Dead and Company to trailblaze.
The boys start with a two night run at Shoreline Amphitheater, on May 31st/June 1st, then move up the coastline to the classic Hollywood Bowl, to return to the venue after a year hiatus. Then up to the Gorge in Washington, before the boys head across the states to Noblesville, Indiana, and then spin around the East Coast. In fact, most of the dates fall upon the East Coast, there being only 8 shows on the west coast (six if you don't include the final two night run at Folsom all the way at the end of tour), versus the 11 on the East coast. The tour ends up wrapping up with a classic two night run at Folsom Field, seemingly now being a second home to the band.
Hopefully all of you have patched your bones, because it's time to get back Truckin on!
