Not Fade Away: Last Dead & Company 2018 Show

Last night at Lockn Festival the mountain ranges of Virginia echoed with the familiar heartbeat that comes along with, “Not Fade Away”, as Dead and Company prepared to hit the stage for the encore to their last show of 2018. Deadheads of all ages, creeds, and colors bounced back and forth to the beat as if in a trance until the band hit the stage. Once Dead and Company returned to the stage they graced the audience with D&C’s first three-song encore. Souls were moved and tears were shed as the curtain was pulled on the last Dead and Company show of 2018.

The mountain ranges began to turn a darker hue of purples as the sun set upon Infinity Downs Farm for Dead and Company’s first performance last night at Lockn Festival. At the present time, most Deadheads can agree that there has been an excessive amount of chatter regarding the tempo of Dead and Company shows and the boys came to Virginia with all intentions to strike those down.
